SPORT
Sport is an essential part of life at Cameron House, forming part of our strong ethic that all children should be involved in exciting, team-spirited activity.
To further this aim, the school makes use of excellent, locally situated swimming, gym and sports facilities. Sports available include: Netball, Football, Touch Rugby, Rounders, Cricket, Indoor Hockey, Athletics, Swimming and Gymnastics and Rowing (Year 6).
Popular after-school clubs with specialist teachers abound, from football to the more unusual sports, such as Karate, Rowing and Fencing.
Karate, in particular, is very well-loved at the school with three quarters of the children participating. This graceful art doubles as a form of self-defence for children and many return after their final year to continue lessons until they have achieved their black belt.
