CAMERON HOUSE SCHOOL

Cameron House School is more than a school, it is a community, where all the parents are very active and where communication with the school is very strong. The Friends of Cameron House are a group of parents who meet regularly to discuss school improvements and the implementation of those little extra touches that have characterised the school since its inception. The group draws together parents and families throughout the school, organising a variety of social events and giving additional support for the major events of the school calendar.

These events can be of charitable support, such as the Christmas Fair, or the Spirit of India Party, raising money for the December 2005 Tsunami Appeal. The events foster a warm and sociable spirit in the school. The Friends of Cameron House also have an effective system of communication between the school and the parents, whereby each class has two representatives who meet twice a term, providing an open channel for parental views.
